6 things for your Christmas shopping list
Ah the holidays. A time for sharing, getting together and the mad rush for last minute Christmas gift buying. It can be tiring running from one mall to the next collecting your yuletide stash, so we’ve drawn up a shopping list of six things that might just solve some of your present-buying issues.
1. The leather-lover
You know how the dimensions of bags and wallets can make or break the overall design? Well, the Michael Graves store right next to the lobby at Hotel Michael stocks some sleek leather products with cuts that are just right. The sling bag (in three colours) and leather pouch caught my eye.

2. Your Mum
No one in this world is more precious than mummy dearest, so show your appreciation by presenting her with a simple brooch beautifully decorated with Swarovski elements. I really like how it sparkles gently in the light.

3. Your girlfriend (or girl friends)
Victoria’s Secret may be famous for lingerie, but there’s another gem: its fragrance range. There are so many different scents you’ll definitely find one for everyone. You can go light and choose a body mist or go for a more accented note and get an Eau de Parfum. The best part? All the bottles are so, so cute. I was sorely tempted but sadly, my paycheck’s not here yet.

5. The little ones
Kids are probably the easiest to shop for, and happily, the Resorts World gift shop stocks kid-friendly goodies as well. We especially love this teddy bear, which makes a great bed-time buddy for young ones. We know – we’ve tried.

6. Yourself
After a hard day of shopping, you probably deserve a treat. Giving and receiving can apply to oneself after all. And what better way to round everything off than to get yourself a Transformers Bumblebee coinbank – to encourage you to save up after all the spending you did.
