Sessions restaurant at Hard Rock Hotel Singapore recently introduced the Saturday High-tea and Sunday Brunch buffets. We put our stomachs into overdrive on two days to check out the food lines; no regrets.
Let’s dive in with the Sunday Brunch first.
Sunday Brunch with kids’ buffet line and activities
If your ideal meal is tucking into crabs, crabs and more crabs, then you’ve found your heaven. At Sessions’s Sunday Brunch buffet, crab aficionados get four types of crab dishes: sweet and spicy chilli crabs, fiery black pepper crabs, poached mud crabs and King Crab legs on ice.

That’s on top of other seafood items like prawns, Pacific white clams black shell mussels, squid and salmon.

There’s also a good selection of roast and grilled items like beef rib eye, leg of lamb (shown below), whole baked fish and chicken thigh.

If you have little ones in tow, you need not worry about them having ‘nothing to eat’. The restaurant has a special kids’ buffet line with all-time favourites like chicken nuggets, mini beef burgers, breaded fish nuggets, steamed corn and desserts.

From 1pm to 2pm, there’s complimentary cupcake decoration or cookie making to keep them entertained, as well as movie screening.

Saturday High-tea
If your tastebuds are skewed towards local and Asian flavours, the Sessions’s Saturday High-tea buffet is right up your alley. Though high-tea should really be a misnomer – you’ll probably skip dinner after this.
The star of the buffet is the rich and spicy chilli crab sauce, filled with chunky, succulent crab meat. A match made in heaven with fried mantous.
