Held annually in Munich, Germany, Oktoberfest is the world’s largest Volksfest (beer festival and travelling funfair) that is held for about 16 days from mid or late September to the first weekend in October.
For the first time in Resorts World Sentosa and for one night only, we are bringing the celebratory atmosphere of Oktoberfest right into our resort on 1 October 2016 (Saturday). Here are 4 reasons why you should not miss it:
1. All-you-can-eat German buffet
Binge on unlimited servings of German favourites like Sauerkraut, Roasted Pork Knuckle, Dark Beer Marinated Chicken, and Baked Potato with Herb and Mustard Cream.
2. Premium bratwurst platter
Not to be missed is the bratwurst tasting platter by our Michelin-starred and Celebrity Chef restaurants, each comprising of four types of premium sausages:
- Five Spice Pork Sausage by Forest森
- Byron Bay Berkshire Pork Garlic Sausage by Osia Steak and Seafood Grill
- Duck and Foie Gras Sausage by CURATE
- “Salsiccia” Italian Sausage by Fratelli – Trattoria and Pizzeria
Each ticket is limited to one bratwurst tasting platter.
3. Limited edition Erdinger beer
Wash down all those fabulous eats with an ice cold, limited edition Erdinger Oktoberfest seasonal beer. This synergistic combination of two classic German styles of Oktoberfest and Weizen comes with a strong malty taste at the back, yet remains crisp with a fruit and clove hint. The perfect complement to the hearty buffet of traditional German dishes. Beer connoisseurs can also opt for other refreshing options such as Erdinger Weiss and Erdinger Dunkel.
Each standard ticket entitles you to one glass of beer while the Special Party of 8 ticket entitles you to two beer towers.
4. Live entertainment and party games
What’s Oktoberfest without some merry-making? As part of the festivities, we are flying in renowned German band Ois Easy to entertain revelers with their infectious live performances and playful party antics. There will also be Beer Pong and other party games where you can win prizes.
