Nine days of March school holidays is pretty short. But it is still good to take a break from your studies. If you are looking for ideas for a short outing with friends, we have eight activities at RWS that might be just right for you. In order how much time they consume, here they are.

Join the #loveatACW Instagram contest before it ends on 13 March

You still have the first two days of the school holidays to head to ACW and take a photo with your significant other at either the Love Arch near the entrance or Love Latch near The Bay Restaurant to win.

Take photos with the underwater Easter bunny

Easter Bunny at S.E.A. Aquarium

The Underwater Easter Bunny comes out of its burrow to bring you Easter eggs behind the glass. It doesn’t come often so be sure to catch it before it swims away. You can find it at 2pm at Open Ocean Habitat and at 4pm at Shipwreck Habitat. Check out the rest of the Easter programme at S.E.A. Aquarium.

Scale the Amber Rock Climb wall

If you’re in Universal Studios Singapore, take advantage of the free Amber Rock Climb at USS and give your arms and legs a workout.

Challenge yourself and see how fast you can reach the top. We heard from the folks there that the average time to reach the top is 5 minutes (for a pro, most likely.)

Time needed: clock (For novices, 5 minutes before giving up. Equal amount of time for pros to reach the top.)

 

Hide and seek at Wet Maze

The latest obstacle course at Adventure Cove Waterpark has two levels (double the fun!). The lower level is a maze where you can run as if you’re running for your life in the Maze Runner movies. If you’re not afraid of heights, the upper level has four different rope obstacle courses.

Go to K-pop concerts at K-Live Sentosa

Join the concert by Wonder Girls, 2PM and GOT7 at K-Live Sentosa. Sing along to the hologram projections of the K-pop idols on a 270-degree panoramic screen as if you are at an actual concert.

Students get a discount price of S$32 (usual price S$39) if you purchase the ticket in person at the ticketing booth.

Attempt to break Guinness World Record on MONOPOLY Day

How to win monopoly World Monopoly day

On 19 March, be part of the Guinness World Record for most people playing a MONOPOLY game in a single venue, by heading to Universal Studios Singapore at 9am. You’ll have to get your entry tickets but after the game, you can visit the park for the rest of the day.

Here are some tips for you to increase your chance at beating your opponents at Monopoly.

Exhaust your phone’s memory at Trick Eye Museum

Check out Trick Eye Museum with your bestie(s) to take photos that are out of this world. It’s also more fun if you have someone else to take photos of you in the scenes.

Students get a special promotion in March: Secondary students, aged 13 to 17 years old, with a valid student ID enjoy package price for two S$40 (usual price S$50), for three S$60 (usual price S$75) and for four S$75 (usual price S$100). Buy the tickets at the ticketing counter to get the promo.

Join the audition for Universal Studios Singapore (12, 13 March)

USS auditions 2016

Do you love Universal Studios Singapore so much you want to be part of it? Try your luck at Universal Studios Singapore Audition 2016 on 12 and 13 March.

We’re looking for character actors, mascots, voice impersonators and singers who dance/ dancers who sing and hosts. Do note that you’ll need to be at least 18 years old on the day of the audition.

Time needed: clockclock clockclock(Depending on the roles you are auditioning for, check out the time table below.)

Day 1 – Saturday, 12 March 2016
9.30am Stilt-walkers
11am Singers who can dance/Dancers who can sing (Be prepared to stay for dance callbacks and to return on Day 2 for final callbacks)
