CURATE is a Michelin chef showcase restaurant, created specifically as a stage for visiting Michelin-starred chefs from around the world to showcase their culinary creations.
These visiting chefs will curate exclusive tasting menus, served only for a limited time. While here, they will also collaborate with a resident chef to create a signature menu that will be served for a longer period. Every few months, a new Michelin-starred chef will be invited to helm CURATE, bringing his or her own culinary creations to the table – in a series known as Art at Curate, a Michelin star experience in partnership with Michelin Guide Singapore and renowned wine authority, Robert Parker Wine Advocate.
Chef Massimiliano Alajmo got his three-star Michelin at 28 years old in 2002, one of the youngest executive chefs to win the coveted award
Debuting in April with this series of Art at Curate is the world’s youngest three-star Michelin chef, Massimiliano Alajmo. Revered for his clever, modern interpretations of traditional Italian flavours, the 42-year-old oversees the kitchens of La Calendre in Padua (which won him his 3 Michelin stars in 2002) and the family’s two restaurants, Ristorante Quadri and La Montecchi, with a total of five Michelin stars amongst them.
His studied concept of depth, lightness and fluidity in his food, and selective use of exquisite seasonal ingredients makes for a distinctive menu, said to be comparable to poetry on a plate.
