When it comes to a night out with your best gal pals, a good bubbly should be at the top of your agenda. Even more so if there’s free-flow Angel Champagne, one of the world’s most expensive brands of champagne, and the cuvée of choice for Hollywood celebrities like Mariah Carey.
Angel Champagne is concocted from a special blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes harvested from the finest vineyards in the Champagne region in France. The concoction is then cellared 30 metres underground for a minimum of three years to reach optimum maturity. It has a pleasant floral aroma, with notes of apple, pear and minerals that linger on the finish.
In Singapore, Angel Champagne is currently only available at CURATE.
Apart from Angel, you can opt for two other tipples – Taittinger and Blanc Foussy. Taittinger is a smooth, full-bodied champagne with a delicate fruity bouquet and a long finish that is distinctively sweet and flavourful. If you prefer something light and refreshing, go for the Blanc Foussy sparkling wine which reveals a pleasant and fruity harmony on your palate.
As you sip your bubbly of choice, indulge in avant-garde hors d’œuvres created by CURATE’s resident celebrity chef Benjamin Halat. The menu will be updated regularly so that each visit brings a new surprise. Here are some of his current creations.
