6 must-watch shows at Resorts World Sentosa in June and July - RWScoop- The Resorts World Sentosa Blog

The age of YouTube has brought us closer to shows and singers with just a search and a tap. But watching performances online simply cannot replicate the multi-sensorial experience of catching it live – seeing the performers in the flesh, the electrifying energy, singing and cheering with other audience members, and (sometimes) smelling what’s cooking on stage.

Come June and July, six fabulous shows have been lined up at Resorts World Sentosa: two theatrical spectacles from Korea, a Japanese girl rock band, a stand-up comedy, and concerts by Sammi Cheng and The Sam Willows.

Here are the performances listed according to date:

NANTA (Cookin’) [3 to 5 June]

If you like fresh takes on musicals, NANTA (Cookin’) will whet your appetite through sight, sound and smell.

The story follows five chefs in the kitchen as they scramble to get ready for a wedding reception. In the 90-minute show, watch them juggle knives and plates, listen to their heart-pounding drumming on chopping boards and soy sauce barrels, and take in the smell of the actual food being cooked on stage.

Will they manage to complete their preparation in time? Come and find out.

Why you should come: High-energy show which mixes acrobatics, fast-tempo beats and food in a funny story line.
