So what’s happening for Christmas, other than the usual food and shopping activities? Quite a bit it seems, at Sentosa Harbourfront.

Located at the southern tip of Singapore, Sentosa HarbourFront is home to over 30 attractions, more than 200 dining options, sandy beaches, hotels and shopping malls – including Resorts World Sentosa and its host of offerings.

This December, it is rolling out a myriad of activities, events and festive menus to welcome you to #ASouthernChristmas. Don’t miss these highlights.

Christmas tree + mechanical Carousel-themed light show at VivoCity Singapore

VivoCity, Singapore’s largest shopping mall, is all lit up for Christmas.

Don’t miss the Christmas tree on the rooftop, and the Carousel-themed light show there at 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm. Come for the shopping, stay for the light show (ok, we tried really hard there).

Trolls invade Sentosa Island (19 Nov to 2 Jan 2017)

Well, not the type that hide under bridges.

The cute, colourful Trolls with the signature hair-raising hairstyle are invading Sentosa Island. Trolls-themed activities include:

  • Shadow Play with troll props (lights on from 7.30pm)
  • Trolls dress-up and photo points
  • Trolls Playground @ iFly Singapore Lvl 2 (till 9.30pm)
  • Trolls Meet & Greet Session (10 Dec, Merlion Plaza & 17 Dec, Beach Plaza. 11.30am, 2.30pm & 6pm)
  • Trolls Toy Shop @ Beach Plaza (11am – 9.30pm)

Sentosa Christmas Trolls

Merlion Magic Lights! at Merlion Plaza

From 19 November to 2 January 2017, the Merlion light show is back, turning the beloved icon into a canvas with light display accompanied by audio and other visual effects.

This year, it’s a special Trolls-themed light show as characters from the movie will join in by singing and dancing.

Timing: 7.45pm, 8.15pm, 8.45pm and 9.15pm on weekdays. Two more shows at 9.45pm and 10.15pm on weekends, eve of public holidays and public holidays.

Build your LEGO Christmas at HarbourFront Centre (18 Nov to 3 Jan 2017)

Bubble Christmas at Quayside Isle @ Sentosa Cove

Bubbles, bubbles everywhere at the luxury waterfront precinct of Sentosa Cove.

Catch interactive bubble installations and a light show case at The Bubble Playzone, and for the kids, Bubble Wonderland is open with Choo Choo Train, Bouncy Castle and Game stalls on 2 to 25 December. More details, here.

Catch ONE15 Christmas Boat Light Parade

Yachts decorated in Christmas lights will sail into HarbourFront Cruise Bay on 26 November at 8.30pm until 9.30pm as part of the ONE15 Boat Light Parade. Get a good view from Sentosa Boardwalk.

For the adults looking to party, join the Awards Ceremony and Closing Party from 8pm till late at ONEº15 Marina Sentosa Cove. Tickets comes with free-flow selection of food and beer and beats from Guest DJs Jade Rasif and Tinc. Ticketing detail.

How to get here: Take the Sentosa Express monorail, stop at Beach Station. Take Bus No. 3 to Sentosa Cove Village, a 1 minute’s walk away from ONE°15 Marina Club.

Countdown to the New Year at Siloso Beach Party

In its 10th year run, Siloso Beach Party gathers party-goers for a 12-hour dusk till dawn dance party. Includes music and colourful fireworks.
