What’s a good Mother’s Day gift?
Let me guess. You’re reading this post cause you’ve expanded every possible gift option for Mother’s Day over the past few years. Or perhaps too consumed by who to vote for at tomorrow’s polling day, you’ve run out of bandwidth to think of something by Sunday. Or you simply forgot – and this turned up when you googled ‘Last minute Mother’s Day gift ideas/shopping’.

All the best in gift-hunting! And of course, the best gift would definitely still be that personal wish and time spent.

[A review by Amelia Eng, winner of Osia signature dish contest]
For this year’s Valentines’ Day celebration we wanted to have it in Resort World Sentosa. We went to Osia Restaurant for dinner. The first word that came to my mind was ‘EXPENSIVE’! But hey, fear not, its all affordable!
Beat the traffic this New Year’s Eve!
Planning to usher in 2011 with us this Friday? Here are some tips on getting in and out of the resort and beating the jams -
Tip #1: Go Public
We encourage one and all to take public transport in for that day. Traffic is expected to be slow moving!
Tip #2: Remember these characters ‘R-W-S-8′
Specially for 31 Dec, the frequency of our RWS 8 service fleet will be increased with the waiting time reduced from 5-7mins to 3-5mins
Tip #3: Know your exit strategy
If partying through the 2010-2011 window isn’t your cup of tea, there are several (free and painless) ways to make your way out of the resort. Pick one and add it to your plan for the day:)

The Season of Giving
It’s the time of the year again! Streets evolve into varying shades of Christmas, lit up by an explosion of light bulbs. Shopping centres start playing (sometimes nauseating) festive favourites like Jingle Bells and Silent Night with the occasional shopper humming along.
But what stands out most about Christmas is it being the season of GIVING. To the recipients, joy abounds. To the giver, it often translates into a mad rush of gift-hunting! If the latter describes you, fret no more:)
