aRWSome Apprenticeship aims to reach out and inspire at-risk youths through mentorship programmes with RWS senior team members in a partnership with local volunteer welfare organisation Heartware Network.
This programme was conceived to keep youths off the streets and learn a life skill from experts in Culinary, Performing Arts and Entertainment, Attractions, Hospitality and Retail.
29 secondary school students spent their June holidays at the annual Apprenticeship series, and experienced first-hand what goes on behind the scenes at our resort’s anchor attractions – Universal Studios Singapore® and S.E.A. Aquarium.
From identifying different fish breeds to engaging guests at both attractions, the students underwent an eye-opening two week training programme mentored by RWS team members.
