As part of the Resort’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, aRWSome wishes was launched in 2011. It works on a straightforward premise. Christmas wishes of the underprivileged kids will be collected by our CSR team. There will be a call-for-action to adopt the wishes. TMs will purchase the gift/s for the kid/s they have settled on. The presents will be distributed to the children on the assigned dates.
From sport shoes to school bags, these little gifts brought out big smiles for over 800 aRWSome Wishes recipients in December. The month long Wishes programme ended with a big bang at Telok Blangah Community Centre on 22 Dec where Santa Claus himself and his 32 yellow elfin volunteers were out in force distributing gifts. They were joined by Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade and Industry and Amy Khor, Mayor of South West District.
