Wednesday Nite Out at Osia is a special one-night-only dining event at Osia Steak and Seafood Grill where you get to enjoy a 3-course dinner for only S$68++ per person (RWS Invites member price) or S$78++ per person (non-member price). Here’s what’s on the menu:
Appetizer Sharing Platter
Main Course Sharing Platter
And here are four reasons why you should make your reservation soon:
1) Perfect for meat and seafood lovers
Osia Steak and Seafood Grill is known for their premium meats and seafood items so this is a great way to savour some of their most popular dishes. In this menu, you get to enjoy three types of seafood (tiger prawns, mud crabs and barramundi) and two types of meat (beef steak and chicken spatchcock).
If you like your meats with a smoky flavour, you’ll be thrilled to know that Osia grills their meats in a stone hearth oven grill. Chef de Cuisine Douglas Tay explains, “The stone hearth oven grill creates an intense heat that allows for better caramelization of meat so it tastes sweeter. It also imparts a strong smoky flavour which people like.”
2) Fabulous value for money
Although this is a 3-course meal, you essentially get to try seven different dishes: three appetizers, three main courses and one dessert. This is due to the new Sharing Plates menu which is designed for variety and communal dining.
As Chef Douglas Tay puts it, “With our Sharing Plates menu, family and friends can enjoy a greater variety of food and flavours. For example in the Appetizer Sharing Platter, you get three of our most popular appetizers instead of having to order three separate dishes. And you get two meats and one fish for mains. This is exceptional value for money.”
In fact, if you were to order all 7 dishes a la carte, you’ll have to spend about $200! Now that’s some serious savings.
3) Prepared by Chef de Cuisine Douglas Tay and team
Humble and dedicated, Chef Douglas Tay is known for his out-of-the-box culinary thinking. Before he turned 30 years old, he had already won gold medals at the Culinary Olympics 2008 and Western Australia Oceanafest 2009, and took second place at the WACS Global Chefs Challenge 2009, Asia Finals. As the Chef de Cuisine at Osia, he led the restaurant to be named ‘Best New Restaurant 2010’ by CNNGo and ‘Best Dining Experience’ at the Singapore Experience Awards 2011, among other accolades. We see this as the perfect opportunity to try the creations of our award-winning chef.
4) Dine with your family
When was the last time you sat down for a really good meal with your loved ones? Why not make it a special Wednesday night out with them? With this unique Sharing Plates menu, everyone can share a fantastic feast together.
