Universal Studios Singapore

Three things you must do at Universal Studios Singapore:

1. Have a turkey leg

One of the best kept secrets in USS, the turkey can be found at the Marilyn’s push cart in the Hollywood zone. At $12 a pop, the turkey leg is definitely worth every cent because some of them are as big as your face.

2. Try TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle

TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle

This immensely thrilling ride will race you through open streets, subways and even flying off rooftops. Do make this the first ride you go to though as this is one of the most popular rides in the park.

3. Check out the awesome Halloween display [30 Oct edit: only until 3 Nov, the last day for Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 3]

Halloween Horror Nights 3

Halloween Horror Nights 3 (HHN3) is now on! You are in for a treat. Check out the various scary props and sets in the New York, Egypt and Lost World Zone. Stay on for HHN3 if you want to see the full sets and effects.

[30 Oct edit: Halloween Horror Nights 3 ends on 3 Nov. If you are looking for some unique seasonal photo ops, visit Universal Studios Singapore in December when it will be dressed up for Christmas]

Adventure Cove Waterpark

Three things you must do at Adventure Cove Waterpark:

1. Get in the Adventure River

Nestled within the waterpark, the Adventure River is a 620-metre long lazy river suited for Indiana Jones wannabes. Or try out the activities at Splashworks, like walking the balance beam, crossing the tight rope and climbing the cargo net.

2. Fly with the Riptide Rocket

Riptide Rocket

The Riptide Rocket is fast, furious and takes no prisoners. You and your buddy (this hydro-magnetic water roller coaster takes two) will experience the high of airborne to the desperation of plunges. Try balancing the tube before the ride ends, we’ve heard more stories of capsizes than survivors.

3. Shark spotting

Tucked away in a corner of the park is the shark viewing panel, which is some sort of a hidden gem. It’s not as crowded there and you get to get see the sharks up close. Depending on the time of the day, you can even see the ferocious marine animals being fed.

Buy 3 Adventure Cove Waterpark Day Passes and get 1 on us at only $108 (U.P. $144). Grab them online or at any Adventure Cove Waterpark ticket booth.

S.E.A. Aquarium

Three things you must do at S.E.A. Aquarium:

1. Admire sea jellies

Japanese sea nettle

One of the most fascinating habitats in the aquarium, the sea jellies are always popular with guests, adults and children alike. Do visit the hairy Japanese sea nettle, also one of the most poisonous species in the aquarium.

2. Visit the Open Ocean Gallery

Check out the world’s largest acrylic panel at the Open Ocean Gallery. Measuring 36 metres wide (three double-decker buses lined up front to back) by 8.3 metres tall (two double-decker buses stacked) by 700 mm thick and weighing more than 250,000 kg, it offers a spectacular view of the Open Ocean habitat, home to some rare marine species such as the giant manta rays and goliath grouper.

3. Go to the Discovery Touch Pool

The touch pool is one of the best places in the aquarium to get close to marine animals. Not only do you get to feel marine animals like sea stars, bamboo sharks and sea cucumbers, our guides will also impart some facts to you.
