We are one week closer to RWS Street Eats where you get to feast on dishes that our Southeast Asian neighbours eat in their everyday lives. Counting down to the event taking place from 12 to 20 August 2017, we continue our weekly #WhatsInADish series and let you in on the makings of every Singaporean’s must-have when on holiday in Bangkok – Thai Mango Sticky Rice.
Although Thailand is well-known for its savoury (and sometimes exotic) delicacies, equally iconic is its Mango Sticky Rice dessert that it both sweet and savoury. The dish is best eaten shortly after it is bought, because the fresh coconut milk will go bad if left un-refrigerated for too long, and the sticky rice will turn hard and clumpy when refrigerated.
