Fresh rice dumplings at Feng Shui Inn
Powerful strikes upon the drum. Thunderous roars battling the stubborn waves of the sea. Blood pumping adrenaline. These are just about the sights and sounds of Singapore’s Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Dumpling Festival. And while most of us don’t have the physique and ability to steer these boats, we most certainly have the superhuman ability to stomach these Ba Zhang – many of them, if we can.

There is one universal truth: no one escapes the clutches of the Weary Wednesday Monster.
