Sessions at Resorts World Sentosa is a 3-in-1 restaurant which satisfies the cravings of many. Whether you have a sweet tooth, love crabs and seafood and or even if you’re looking for hands-on cooking lessons taught by celebrity chefs, you’re at the right place.
The restaurant which opened in mid-December 2016 is located at lobby level of Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, occupying the space of the now-defunct Starz restaurant.
It serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and all-day desserts. There’s a fully-equipped cooking studios for cooking classes too.
The walk-in breakfast from 7.30am to 10.30am serves a buffet of Continental and Asian food. Start your day here and load up on the energy you need to explore the Resort.
If you’re looking for crab and seafood, drop by for lunch and dinner (12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 10pm). Crab Sessions specialises in seafood dishes.
For Singapore-styled seafood, pick the Black Pepper Crab ($55++) and Red Chilli Crab ($55++).
Looking for something more exotic? Grab the Louisiana seafood buckets.
- New Orleans Bucket ($125++, serves 2 to 3) overflows with steamed crab, prawns, mussels, clams, sweet corn and potato
- Mega Crab Bucket ($230++, serves 4 to 6) is filled with steamed crabs, prawns, mussels, clams, weet corn and potato
Prefer something other than crustaceans? Caesar Salad ($12++), garlic kang kong ($10++), prawn paste chicken wing ($14++), rib eye steak ($30++) and grilled salmon ($22) are available too.
Looking for just a nibble and drink? Kick back and relax at Sweet Sessions–the desserts zone right at the entrance of the restaurant.
Aside from your usual ice cream, pancakes and waffles, there are unique creations by the award-winning pastry chef Kenny Kong.
One of them is this fascinating sight: Balloons half-coated with chocolate and sprinkles hang on a railing.
It’s part of the Chocolate Balloon Melt ($16++). Think of a volcano that collapses inwards instead of spewing out lava.
The chocolate dome is made by coating the balloon with melted chocolate and freezing the chocolate. Before being served to your table, the balloon is popped to leave the chocolate dome.
Under the chocolate dome hides an orange chiffon tart, fresh mango, and ice cream. When you drizzle melting coconut sauce on the dome, it falls and crumbles. Enjoy the avalanche.
