RWS won three awards on 4 May at the Singapore Tourism Award 2017, considered Singapore’s most prestigious awards for the tourism sector.
The awards were:
- Best Leisure Event (third consecutive year) – Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights 6
- Best Marketing Idea – Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights 6
- Best Customer Service for Attractions – Muhammad Aizuddin bin Abdul Halim, ACW Aquatic Safety Team Manager
Halloween Horror Nights has grown in size and scale, outdoing itself each year. Last year, the iconic event featured five haunted houses, two scare zones, and two live shows that ran over 16 nights.
The integrated marketing for HHN6 went beyond conventional media, incorporating alternative mediums such as virtual reality, guerilla stunts, mobile apps and interactive displays.
For Muhammad Aizuddin from ACW, the award is a culmination of his consistent efforts to deliver a safe experience for visitors of the water park since he joined RWS in 2011.
RWS CEO Tan Hee Teck: “It is truly an honour to be recognised amongst the industry’s finest and we would like to thank all our team members for their invaluable contributions and unwavering dedication in delivering a memorable and exceptional experience for our guests.
We will continue to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation to establish ourselves as a compelling award-winning premium lifestyle destination for guests to enjoy the finest Michelin-starred dining, world-class attractions and quality entertainment”.
