aRWSome kids date 2012

What’s fun, exciting and full of sweaty people in yellow T-shirts? Answer: aRWSome Kids’ Date 2012! On a humid March 13, 100 RWS Volunteers chaperoned 350 excited kids from various Singaporean and Malaysian beneficiaries for a treat in Universal Studios Singapore. One Volunteer was so touched that he actually visited one home in Negeri Sembilan (Malaysia) a week later.

And who says taking a break has to be all about yourself? On a short respite before the World Team Table Tennis Championships, national paddlers played big brother and sister to 15 kids from Grace Orchard School on March 21, bringing them out for lunch at the Malaysian Food Street before a spin on TRANSFORMERS The Ride.
