[RWS Flashback!] January 2012

Missed out on January’s happenings in the Resort? Or simply want to look back at those events and go ‘ahh, those were the days”? Well, we want to reminisce too, so at the beginning of every month, we’ll do a quick picture recap of the happenings of the month before. Here is the first throwback to January 2012.

Voyage de la Vie’s Butterfly Girls

The beautiful Butterfly Girls elicited many responses from us, namely awe, appreciation, and for some, envy (wah they so tall and pretty ah!). Judging from the number of people who stopped to take photos with (and of) them, they’re well-loved. Did you manage to catch them at Orchard Road and around our resort?

The Malaysian Food Street (MFS) Opens

Hokkien Mee, Char Koay Teow, raw fish porridge, chendol and many, many more. Yummy eats from across the Causeway with rich culinary history is now available right here at the Resort.

Chinese New Year at the Resort

It was dragons everywhere this festive season. From dragons made of fresh flowers which needed to be replaced every four to five days, to a five-storey tall rotating dragon lit up by over 10,000 LED lights, the dragons were the perfect photo-opp.
