Live Spectacle: NARUTO in Singapore
Can you identify who’s who?

After enjoying sold-out runs in Japan, we bring you some facts about the show.

  1. It is not a musical. This live theatrical performance not only features drama, dance and acrobatic displays, it also uses cutting-edge visual effects to bring the story (and jutsus) to live.
  2. The storyline covers the first half of the manga (volumes 1 – 27). That’ll bring you right up to the point where Naruto decides to leave the village and train with his mentor, Jiraiya.
  3. While comic book characters are notoriously hard to cast for live action (we’re looking at you Dragonball Evolution), that’s hardly an issue for Live Spectacle: Naruto. Its drawn widespread acclaim for the uncanny resemblance the cast bears to the popular characters they play.

  1. This theatrical adaptation is part of the larger “Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project” (Naruto’s New Era Opening Project). Meant to mark the 15th anniversary of the manga’s serialisation, other projects include a spin off mini-series called Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring (published 27 Apr 2015) and the 11th movie, Boruto: Naruto the Movie (airing on 7 Aug 2015). Focusing on Naruto’s son, Boruto Uzumaki, and the next generation of ninjas, it’ll wrap up the Naruto franchise before Masashi Kishimoto begins an all-new manga title.

If you’ve been captivated by the manga, this is a not-to-be-missed event. Get your tickets to Live Spectacle: Naruto now-dattebayo!

Naruto was just another boy living in the village of Konoha-Gakure. Until one day, he was suspected of stealing the Ninja’s book of prohibited alchemy. This led to the shocking discovery of his lifelong secret: the demon fox with nine tails was sealed in his body when he was born!

Fortunately, he was encouraged and supported by Iruka, one of the teachers at the Ninja Academy. Now a rookie Ninja, Naruto joins his classmates on extraordinary adventures, as he overcomes his personal struggles.

Be part of Naruto’s journey in this live spectacle of dance, acrobatic performances and fantastic stage effects.
