Why kids will love Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story

When I first watched Peter Pan as a child, I was totally smitten. I would imagine flying away from homework and exams, getting into amazing adventures, and counting on a fairy to get me out of the stickiest situations. And I dare say I am not alone.

So here are some reasons why kids will absolutely adore Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story.

Pirates ahoy!

Maybe it is the eye patch, the quirky peg leg or the elusive chest of gold doubloons. Whatever it is, pirates never fail to take kids to wondrous places in their imagination. And there’s a ship load of them in the show.

But here’s the kicker: they sing operas. So keep your ears peeled for Hook’s vocal prowess! [Take a listen here!]

Let’s fly away

In the kids’ world of imagination and innocence, flying is perhaps the best thing that could ever happen.

In this show, not only will some of the actors be flying across the stage, you might even catch them flying right above you.

Kids, especially boys, love swords. It looks cool, and makes you look even cooler when you win the battle (and the girl).

But in case you think it’s just some plastic rapier swords being used on stage, get this: the actors fight with real rapier swords in this show.

Look, I’m an acrobat!

Nothing fuels a kid’s imagination more than acrobats and their gravity-defying, daredevil stunts. With so many acrobatic sequences in the show, the young ones will be completely in awe.

I wish upon this fairy dust

Fairies are tiny, they’re magical and they pop out of nowhere to make your wish come true. In this theatrical version of the classic tale, Tinkerbell will not only be flying and sprinkling fairy dust, she’ll be singing too.

Go get your little ones on board and set sail on this theatrical adventure of Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story. With all that flying, swashbuckling action, fairy dust, and catchy pop tunes, this is a sure hit with both the young and not so young.
