5 tips to take Instaworthy photos

Fifty eight million photos. That’s how many photos are uploaded to Instagram each day.

In this mind-blowing excess of photos, how do you make yours interesting? We don’t claim to be experts, but after trawling through thousands of fan photos on Instagram, here are some that caught our eye – and what made them stand out.

1. Werk it

Catch yourself (or your friends) in action. We know how tough it is to get shots like these and it probably took these people a thousand tries but trust us, it will be worth it when you get the perfect shot.

2. Location and lighting

Nothing says “instaworthy” more than a good setting. The correct location with the right lighting will instantly add brownie points to your photo.

3. It’s all about the angle

Don’t just settle for an average, run-of-the-mill photo. To get an unusual shot, you must of course, use an unusual angle. Think out of the box, the right angle can make or break your photo.

4. Find hidden gems
