It’s an exciting week – we’re launching two new hotels on Thursday, February 16. Nestled in the lush greenery on the west side of the resort, the Equarius Hotel and Beach Villas promise a relaxing stay and calming sea views. The oceanarium, water theme park, destination spa and other amenities will progressively open later this year.
Here are five things you should know about the Equarius Hotel.
1. Some quick numbers
172 rooms in total
136 Deluxe rooms at 51 sqm
30 Garden Rooms at 139 sqm
6 Suites at 102 sqm
Rates start from $800 per night.
2. Spacious rooms
Designed with vastness in mind, the rooms are some of the most spacious deluxe rooms in Singapore. With a higher than average ceiling, the rooms feel bigger and freer. It also allows more sunlight in. We think letting the sunlight flood in during the day with the lights off would make for a complete green experience.
Also, lounging by the balcony is something we’d love to do. Which brings us to the next point…
3. All the rooms have a balcony… or a garden
Deluxe rooms have balconies overlooking two different views: the Resort view where you get a bird’s eye view of people at play (once the water theme park opens), or the Hill view, where you can appreciate all 2.9 hectares of natural rainforest every time you look outside.
And for those of you who love open outdoor spaces, Equarius Hotel offers 30 Garden rooms, each with a sprawling garden balcony.
4. The bathrooms are spacious too
All Equarius Hotel rooms come with two vanity areas, a bathtub and a separate shower stall, so there is plenty of room to move about. There is also a built-in television so you won’t miss your show while you relax in the tub.
5. Butler service for Deluxe Suites
There is nothing better than receiving customized personal service on your holiday. Decide what bath products you want and which pillow suits you best with the pillow and bath menus. Then sit back, relax, and enjoy the living area which overlooks the private pool if you’re on the first floor (it’s made available only to guests staying on that level), or the private patio garden if you’re staying on the third.
The suites here at Equarius come with a living area and a bedroom; but if you want to, a connecting twin room is also available upon request.
