CSR: Imagine | Native book donation drive

As Singapore’s first ever marine-themed educational fiesta, Imagine | Native was launched in 2016 in hopes of instilling in children a love for reading and an interest in marine conservation.

With the help of our aRWSome team members who offered their time and book donations, more than 10,000 books were collected in the inaugural book donation drive jointly organised by Resorts World Sentosa and the People’s Association (PA). Community Clubs (CC) including Marine Parade CC, Paya Lebar-Kovan CC, Tanjong Pagar CC, Bukit Batok CC and Nee Soon Central CC took part in this initiative to rally the public from 4 March to 17 April 2016.

On 20 May 2016, team members gathered at the S.E.A. Aquarium to organise the donated books into a 4.5 metre-tall book shelf on display at Imagine | Native – Creative Fest for Kids! event. All books will be distributed to children from low income families across Singapore.
