We all missed his food while he was away from the culinary scene for two years. Now with his return, we are able to try every single of his new inspiring menus again. Starting off the new series of RWS’s Global Gourmet Kitchen, celebrity chef Sam Leong will showcase his creative mind with an exquisitely designed menu served at the newly opened Forest森.
To start the delightful meal, the Chargrilled Sliced Wagyu Beef with Home-made Ginger Dressing will be a brilliant choice to tantalize your taste buds while the Double-boiled Minced Pigeon Consommé with Black Truffle is splendid and mouth-watering too.
For main course, why not try the Alaskan King Crab with Wok-fried Egg White in Sea Urchin Sauce Accompanied with Hot and Sour Consommé? It is hard to tell whether it is Chinese, Japanese or Thai, right? This is what we called fusion food.
The Steamed Salmon Fillet with Vegetables Infused with Ginger Flowers Lemon and Kaffir Lime Leaves, with a tint of Thai influences which chef Leong draws the inspirations from his wife, will impress you of how far chef Leong’s fusion cuisine has reached.
Finishing on a sweet note, fusion dessert selections including Asian Cassata, Pineapple Parfait with Lemon Grass Ice-cream and Thai Basil Mango Blancmange with Pomelo Citrus and Gula Melaka Ice-cream, perfect the meal.
