At Adventure Cove Waterpark, it is not always a wet and wild affair.
For the less adventurous who are looking to unwind away from the crowd and the thrilling water rides, here are five things you can do at Adventure Cove Waterpark.
Tucked away in a corner of the park is the shark viewing panel, which is some sort of a hidden gem. Firstly, it’s not as crowded there and you get to get see the sharks up close. Depending on the time of the day, you can even see the ferocious marine animals being fed or watch the brave go face to face with them at the Shark Encounter. Directions: once you enter the park, turn left and head down a flight of stairs.
Get dry, fast
Getting wet at the waterpark is easy but staying dry is another matter altogether. But if you are looking to dry yourself quickly, there’s the Blow Dry Booth right at the main changing area which you can use at $5 a pop. Step into this booth and let the hot wind do the job for you. This isn’t just hot air, it really works.
Escape from the heat
For a quick respite from the heat, head to the Reef ‘n Wave Wear shop to cool down. Besides being a great place for a good chill, you can do some serious shopping there too. Check out the adorable plush toys on display.
Front row seats
More often than not, the Open Ocean Habitat in the S.E.A. Aquarium is packed to the brim, with guests edging for the perfect view. Well, why not try the Rainbow Reef for an alternative. Relax on the many beach beds beside the Rainbow Reef for a front row seat to an underwater world populated by some 20,000 fish. And while you are at it, grab a soda from one of the drink carts nearby.
Take fun photos
This is definitely a must-do and the different scenes, such as the Grotto Cave, along the Adventure River are great for shutterbugs like @aivanmagno. Take something fun and remember to tag us with #acw.
