Where did all the spaghetti go? They have been stolen and zapped to outer space by Supervillain Macaroni the Merciless! And that has made our friends from Sesame Street very perplexed (although Elmo’s still keeping his signature smile).
Fret not because from today, Super Grover will be zipping into space with Super Elmo to stop Macaroni the Merciless and return spaghetti to Earth. But there’s a conundrum! They can’t do it alone and will require your help at the world’s first fully immersive Sesame Street indoor themed ride.
Located at Universal Studios Singapore®’s New York zone, you will be recruited as a Super Sidekick and together with three others, you’ll get on your very own rocket alongside co-pilot Super Elmo on a journey into space. It promises to be a two-and-a-half minute high-flying adventure where you can get up close with folks like Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie. You’ll have to be at least 92 cm tall to ride, and 122cm to ride without adult supervision.
Reward yourself after saving the day by visiting Big Bird’s Emporium, where you can lay your hands on some very adorable memorabilia. Or, if you’re in the mood to fill your stomach before taking off with Super Grover and Super Elmo, check out the Sesame Street Character Breakfast at Loui’s NY Pizza Parlour right next to the Emporium.
Catch the cheerful song and dance number “Another Day” performed by Elmo and friends at the ride’s Official Launch on 1 March 2013 below.
