Here’s a sample:

This is a true story.

My friend and I were at the Tanjong Belungkor Ferry Terminal, waiting to return to Singapore after our weekend trip to Desaru.

I needed to use the toilet so I visited the public washroom. It was a tiny place with two stalls. The sitting toilet stall was disgusting so I could only use the other.

There were a lot of mosquitos in the toilet. When I went to wash my hands at the sink, I looked at the mosquitoes hanging out on the mirror. My skin crawled and I pondered whether I should spray water on them to make them go away.

Then I heard a knock on the door. My friend said, “Hey, are you OK?”

“What?” I asked.

“I heard a woman scream,” she said.

I looked in the mirror and there was only me.
