In February and March, Singapore was plagued with weeks of drought. While it rained in mid-March, rainfall had not been frequent.
With April being the warmest month of the year, you’ll definitely want to escape the heat at Adventure Cove Waterpark (ACW).
To prepare you for a fun visit to ACW, here are four must-dos at the waterpark:
Hitch a ride at Riptide Rocket
Possibly the best ride at ACW for daredevils. If you have ever wished to experience a roller coaster on water, this is your chance.
Riptide Rocket features Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic water coaster. Unlike other water rides, this ride doesn’t just go down. On the ride, you will experience climbs, drops, twists and turns.
Just one trip is not enough.
Get flushed at Spiral Washout
If you have ever wondered what it feels like to be caught in a twisting tornado, go down to Spiral Washout.
After travelling down a covered tunnel on your float, you”ll be brought to a gigantic tunnel where you spin down into another tunnel before splashing out the exit.
Swim with fishes at Rainbow Reef
If you’ve had your share of adrenaline-filled rides, visit Rainbow Reef. Here, you’ll get to snorkel with 20,000 friendly fish and see the colourful reef colony.
Now you don’t have to travel to islands for a chance to snorkel with tropical fish.
Get cosy with rays at Ray Bay
Get up close and personal with dozens rays at Ray Bay. For 30 minutes, you’ll be able to feed the the tame rays.
Apart from being fun, the session is educational as you will learn about different species of rays, their diets and feeding habits.
This activity costs an extra $38 on top of entrance. Read this guy’s first hand experience about feeding rays.
