We miss school for one major reason: the school holidays. Beginning 16 March, it may be a short one week but it can still be full of fun activities. Come in for a day-by-day itinerary for the entire week.

16 March (Sat): Decorate cakes

Start your holiday on a sweet note at Kids Club. Sign up for a Mini Cake Decorating Class to enjoy an hour of confectionery creativity, under the guidance of one of our chefs.

17 March (Sun): Long Sunday lunch at Osia

OSIA Long Sunday Lunch

Spend a lazy Sunday afternoon having a really fabulous lunch at Osia. It’s essentially fine dining all-you-can eat without the hassle of jostling for food. Dig into quivery 62°C Hen’s Egg or the Osia Brunch Plate heaped with pork sausage, field mushrooms, semi-dried roma tomatoes, toast, and your choice of poached, scrambled, or fried eggs. 18 March (Mon): Rock out with Demi

Demi Lovato in Singapore at the Coliseum

If you’re fans then you’ve probably already got your tickets. But if you haven’t, now’s a good time to do so. Rock out at the Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel with your friends to Skyscraper, Give Your Heart a Break and This is Me. Brag about your rock concert when you get back to school.

19 March (Tue): Marine Biodiversity Week at S.E.A. Aquarium

S.E.A. Aquarium at RWS

Do your part for our environment by learning more about Singapore’s complex marine biodiversity through special exhibitions, games and story-telling. The best part? They’re organized by youths from a start-up environmental group, Youths for the Wild, so you can expect youth-friendly activities.

For ages: Age doesn’t matter.

20 March (Wed): Make your own boat at The Maritime Experiential Museum

Sea Captain Holiday Camp at Maritime Experiential Museum

Why look when you can build? The good folks at the Maritime Experiential Museum thought so too, which is why you’re getting a Sea Captains Holiday Camp for all you budding sea legs. Master the skills of ancient shipbuilders and basic sailing mechanics, navigation, and nautical sciences. The best part? Building your own motorized sailboat to bring home.

21 March (Thu): Tackle all slides at Adventure Cove Waterpark

Whirlpool Washout at Adventure Cove Waterpark

Collect some liquid courage (pun not intended) by wading in the Adventure River before progressing on to rides like Dueling Racer, Whirlpool Washout (pictured above) and finally, Riptide Rocket, which propels you along with hydro-magnets. With airborne moments and sudden drops, this is every theme park junkie’s wet dream.

22 March (Fri): Make your own scrapbook

Create your first scrapbook with the fun folks at Kids Club. Bring your own photos and the friendly staff will guide you and provide the necessary materials to help you put memories on paper.

23 March (Sat): Rock Climb

Amber rock climb at Universal Studios Singapore

There’s a challenge hidden deep within Universal Studios Singapore®, a rock of fossils and crevices itching to be climbed. Try your hand at tackling the different difficulty levels. It isn’t as easy as it seems.

For ages: 4 and above

24 March (Sun): Lament 

Finish up your homework, pack your bags, and cry yourself to sleep at night. School starts the next day.
