[FOOD] M: Munchies around the resort for under $10
When it comes to something to nibble on, you can likely find what you want here at the Resort. But what about snacks that cost less than $10? Sweet or savoury, you have none to worry; we’ve sussed out the best bargains for a great snack break.
$3 Gelato from Boulangerie
If you need something cool for a hot day, grab a cup of Boulangerie’s very own gelato. Handmade and smooth, we love the creamy textures and the surprisingly strong flavours. Boulangerie is located at Festive Hotel’s lobby so if you’re tired of walking, take a seat and people watch while you devour your icy treat. Count on the gelato to calm excited kids too.
Get a single scoop of gelato for S$3.00++* and the doubles at S$5.00++*.

$6 for a Bag of Chocolates at Candylicious
If you are touring the Resort and have a sudden craving for something sinfully sweet, Candylicious is located at The Forum (Level 1) – in the midst of any attraction that you wish to visit. It would be hard to miss this store with its iconic “candy trees”.

M&M’s chocolates in all sorts of colours; prices start at S$6.00 per 100g.Sugar rush heaven for jelly bean fanatics
Fans of chewy candies will salivate at this gorgeous, gorgeous sight of jelly beans. The variety brought us to our knees and we scrambled to try every flavour. Almost every flavour. We had to admit defeat after scarfing down 10 varieties. Get these rainbow beanies at S$5.00 per 100g.
Find gifts for family and friends here too – most of the packaging are unique and creative.
Opening hours: 10am – 10pm (Daily)
$8 Gourmet Popcorn at Garrett Popcorn Shops
Ever popular Garrett Popcorn satisfies all our crunchy cravings. While the price might seem steep for what is essentially corn, every popped kernel is, dare we say, perfect – lightly fluffy, nicely rounded, and packing substantial bite. Freshly-made daily, grab a bag – or a bucket – just outside Universal Studios Singapore. Great for munching while people watching at the Bullring.
There’s something for cheese lovers, caramel lovers, and everything in between. We wanted the best of both worlds, so we settled for a Chicago mix – a combination of cheese and caramel that tastes surprisingly great together.
You can also find other unique flavours such as Pecan CaramelCrisp, Cashew CaramelCrisp, and Almond CaramelCrisp – great when you would like an extra crunch.
Ask for a sample if you’re unsure of the flavours. Prices start at $8 for a small bag.
Opening hours: 10am – 10 pm (Daily)
$5 of Extra Large Chocolate Bar at Hershey’s Chocolate World
The all-time favourite snack has a whole shop dedicated to it. Located beside Garrett Popcorn, we followed our noses and basked in the heady scent of chocolates, from the famous Reese’s peanut butter cups to Hershey’s chocolate bars.
Opening hours: 10am – 10pm (Daily)
7-Eleven
When it comes to convenience stores and snacks, you can never leave out the ubiquitous 7-Eleven. Located just across Waterfront station, satisfy your craving for that instant cup noodle or packet of chips here any time of the day. Most snacks are available for less than $10.
