[INSIGHTS] Revisiting Festive Hotel
With the opening of the Equarius Hotel and Beach Villas in Feb 2012, Resorts World Sentosa now offers guests six unique staying experiences; whether it’s a luxuriously romantic getaway for two, a family retreat with the kids, or a rocking weekend with friends, we got your back.
While the limelight was recently on the two new hotels, we thought it’ll be nice to re-introduce our other hotels. Let’s dive into what you can expect from the family-friendly Festive Hotel – where your kids will feel right at home and the staff is as warm as old acquaintances.
Travelling with children has been a logistical nightmare for some. But with the designed-for-family Festive Hotel, you’ll find a room big (and fun) enough for your family. Here are three unique reasons why:
Unique feature 1: Sofa beds galore
There’s just something magical about sofa beds; it’s like a little boy’s dream - to transform and make pretend, and sometimes to sleep on. The good news is, in Festive Hotel, every single room comes with a comfy double sofa bed. A word of caution: Dads may have to wrestle their kids to see who gets the fun bed.

Unique feature 2: Kids will feel like king
Your little one may be apprehensive about spending a night away from home. Perhaps s/he just needs something to perk him/her up. When you check in with children 12 years old and under, pick up a special welcome pack that consists of simple amusing games, a toothbrush and a (very cute) loofah. Kids, don’t rush to take a shower now. (Limited to two packs per room, contents may change from time to time).

It’s rare to find a kid who doesn’t like loft beds. The Family Suite rooms come with this mini child haven – complete with colourful bed linen which will make bed time less of a chore.
As they always say: good things come in threes. Festive Hotel offers three room types and three dining options:

a) The Deluxe Room with double beds.
Recommended for two adults. Able to accomodate up to four adults.
b) Deluxe Family King with a king-sized bed and a loft bed - able to accomodate up to four adults with one child.
c) Deluxe Suite King with a King-sized bed and an additional living area – able to accomodate four adults.

Capture the feel of Latin America with the selection of hot soups, salads, pasta, and grilled meats and seafood. The specialty here is the semi buffet – order just one main course to save tummy space for the appetizer and dessert buffet line. And if you feeling like boogie-ing, be treated to the musical styling of famous salsa singer and composer Martin Elias Reyes and his live band, Fridays to Sundays from 7:30 pm onwards.

Eating at Boulangerie makes you think of the quaint pretend tea-parties that you had as a kid – only better. The staff are friendly and you’ll feel like you’re among friends. If you’re a fan of gelato, don’t miss out on the fresh, hand-churned creations that are both affordable and satisfyingly rich. The best thing is you can have it as a takeaway, so you can explore the Resort as you eat.

Festive Lounge
It’s been a long day of fun and adventure and you’re hungry and need a place to rest your legs. Sadly, it’s not anywhere close to lunch or dinner despite the need to munch on something. Festive Lounge is a great place to grab a cuppa or a draught beer and some light finger snacks. Tucked in a little corner at the Festive Hotel Lobby, you can watch the bustle of the hotel while you sip on your drink.
