Saturday morning at the Maritime Experiential Museum and Aquarium (MEMA) saw the congregation of 18 lucky Facebook fans (and one baby), all ready to set sail on an exclusive maritime experience tailored just for them.
Steered by friendly curators and crew members, fans were treated to a private tour filled with games, ancient artifacts, interesting historical tidbits, a category five storm… You get the drift.

Children for Children 2011 – A MEMA and USS special day out

For many of us living in relative comfort, a day out at an exciting new museum and a theme park would probably be enjoyed as such. But for the 1,600 underprivileged children who came down for a special Children’s Day treat at RWS last Friday, it certainly was a day to remember.
